Products : Reflectors for lasers & pulsed-light systems
Certain types of ceramics make it possible for light intensity to be amplified in order to achieve lasing effect. Reflectors made with these ceramics offer significant advantages over metal and plastic parts - high light reflectivity / diffusion and longer life-time. Microcertec can machine these ceramics and offer glazed and unglazed cavities.
Applications
Ceramic reflectors are used in particular in :
- diode-pumped and lamp-pumped YAG lasers
- solid-state lasers
- pulsed-light systems
Products
Mirocertec offer the following customised components :
- reflectors/diffusing cavities for pumping chambers
- reflectors/diffusing cavities for hand-held manipulators
These reflectors can be fully-glazed or on specified areas only that require surface protection.
